Carter Skalberg Education Fund -Ambassador's Club of Des Moines

Donation protected

Sgt. James L. Skalberg was on active duty with the U.S. Army and was assigned as a canon crew member with a Texas-based troop in Afghanistan. On June 27, James' vehicle was attacked by an Improvised Explosive Device, which ultimately cost him his life. James is survived by his wife, Jessica, and one year old son, Carter Skalberg of Red Oak, Iowa.

The Ambassadors Club of Des Moines asks that you kindly consider a donation to the Carter Skalberg Education Fund. All donations, with the exception of transaction fees associated with the donation site, will be donated to the fund. Printed receipts to verify deposit will be provided by request.

The Ambassadors Club consists of a small group of young professional men in the Des Moines area. Each year we choose a noble cause to sponsor. Like James Skalberg, many of our members have young children. The story of James' passing while bravely serving his country compelled us to create a fund for Carter. We thank you for your kind donations.
