As you may or may not know, I have recently been accepted to travel with physical and occupational therapy students from Quinnipiac to Nicaragua this January. This is an amazing opportunity to use what I have been learning in the classroom to help those less fortunate, those who truly need our help. We will be evaluating and treating the children there, as well as using cardboard carpentry to build assistive devices that they may need. But, in order for me to go, I must raise $2,600 to cover the cost of the trip. Every dollar counts! Even if you do not have the money to donate, please share my post!
