Ifrit's Bladder Unblocking Adventures

Hello, thank you for viewing this page. This morning (23/04/2014), our 1 year old cat Ifrit was unable to pass urine. As you may know, a blockage like this is life-threatening for cats and can kill within 24 hours if untreated.
As a disabled student, I have approx £7k a year paid in installments to cover my bills, rent, food and for these guys. Ifrit's estimated vet bill is between £450.00 GBP ($755.00 USD) to over £1,000.00 GBP ($1678.00 USD). As I have been messed around by PIP and the local council, and still waiting for evidence/notice of benefit entitlement, I am not eligble to have Ifrit treated by PDSA or RSPCA.
We have been given the consultation fee waivered by Friends of the Animals. I will be selling a lot of my stuff but was recommended to post here as well. We had a holiday booked in late August that was all paid for over a year but I am looking to cancel it and to see how much I can get back for Ifrit's bills.
We were also supposed to attend a family wedding on Friday but we have now cancelled as Ifrit is too important to us.
Immediately I put down £200, this leaves me with approx £400 til October in my bank to pay the rest of the vet bill and for food/basics, etc. If you can, anything you can spare towards the cost of Ifrit's overnight stay, medication and possible operations is greatly appreciated.
This is how listless he looked before I could get him to a vet.
UPDATE: Currently at 8pm it has taken the vet 3 tries and Ifrit has had to be sedated but after 4 hours Ifrit's bladder is finally unblocked and they are flushing out his system while he stays in and is monitored overnight.
We have had these cats since 8 weeks old. Ifrit's twin brother Diablos is absolutely fine, for more pictures and videos of them please see them here on tumblr.

Please help me pay for Ifrit and keep him and his brother together. Diablos is roaming the flat alone crying for Ifrit and it is heartbreaking to me.
