Veggies for Veterans
Help us feed US military veterans in need.
Veggies for Vets is a new Madison based initiative created by Award winning songwriter, Iraq Veteran, and Wisconsin Network for Peace and Justice 2009 Peace Maker of the Year winner Jason Moon.
Veggies for Vets is An annual concert sponsored by Madison Veterans for Peace to raise enough money to purchase a full CSA share ($380) from Veteran run farm Peacefully Organic Produce. This share will then be given to a Madison area Veteran in need.
When: Friday, September 19th 7pm – 10:30pm. Doors open at 6pm
Where: Peacefully Organic Produce Farm. 5101 County Highway M Waunakee, WI 53597
Why: Listen to great music, raise money to feed a Madison area veteran and family in need.
Who: Jason Moon, Peacefully Organic Produce, and Madison VFP.
What: A concert in the barn featuring stories and songs by: Jason Moon (OIF-OEF 2003-2004). Jason will be joined by special guests The Getaway Drivers Acoustic Trio.
We have a matching grant for 4 full CSA shares. Let's not let that go to waste.
