Flood Relief of 7A Pioneer Town
Donation protected
On Saturday, May 23, 2015 the Blanco River in Wimberley, Texas rose to 43ft (27ft above flood level) and broke the all-tie record crest from 1929 by 7ft.
In it's wake, 7A Ranch and Pioneer Town that was established in 1946, was destroyed as wood cabins floated away, brick cabins crumbled, and the entire lower portion of the property was completely devestated.
Luckily everyone was evacuated to safety. Unforunately, the long time owners do not have Flood Insurance (the river has never rose close enough to the property to threaten damage). So this HIDDEN GEM needs our help!
My Family has been attending our annual family reunion here for 60 years. It is a Memorial Weekend tradition that has been passed from generation to generation and continued to bring our family (and many, many others) together no matter how far we may all drift.
