Fulton Gummies NICU Stay

Fulton Friends -
Most of us in the PPA community are friends with Mike and Suzy Fulton. We all know of the struggle they went through to have children and about the high risk pregnancy Suzy has had. If you have followed Mike's recent posts this week you saw they had huge life changes due to insurance needs to finance these little ones with the medical expenses.
The wonderful news is the girls were born HEALTHY last night. The swing is that they are TWO MONTHS early and very tiny. Weighing in at 3 pounds and 2 pounds. This will require a solid 6 week stay in the NICU and also require Suzy to stay nearby and facing the ADDED expense of a place to stay since they do not live local enough to make the drive. This was not a planned expense and a large stress and burden. This is a time they should be focusing on the babies and not on the stress of where to sleep.
Mike and Suzy have been so kind and giving to all of us through our photography walk and have been surrounded with friends and support this entire emotional journey.
The cost for them to be close to the babies in an extended stay hotel with a small kitchenette in Houston for 6 weeks (if the girls are released at 6 weeks ) is close to $5000.
I am prayerful that we can reach out to our friends one more time and bless them with a place to sleep and rest during what will still be a stressful time while the girls grow. Everything we do for another is returned to us ten fold.
Mike and I personally share 135 Facebook friends but I know he has so many more. If each of those friends gifted $50 we would hit this goal and even cover some meals during this time. But anything anyone gives is a blessing they will treasure knowing how many friends walked this raod with them when no one had too.
Mike did not ask me to do this as they are so grateful for what everyone has done and already overwhelmed by the care and outreach the PPA community has had already.
Suzy will be released in 3 days and need to be in a hotel by then. My hope is we can raise whats needed over that time so she can focus on the babies and recovering and not this added finance.
