For Bogy and Shannon

This is my way of giving back to Shannon.  Shannon has one of the biggest hearts and most dedicated animal people I know.

Bogy was Shannon's rock.  When deployments come around (as they always do) Shannon new she could depend on Bogy to help her and her daughter get through the long months of her husband being gone. 

Bogy was Shannon's inspiration to become a Pet Sitter and Dog Trainer.  When he was diagnosed with cancer Shannon did everything in her power to keep him happy and comfortable.  She was devastated in his last weeks that none of the Veterinarians could give her a clear answer.  Test after test brough nothing.  Bogy died peacefully in his sleep.  He did not suffer.

Shannon is an amazing human!  These are only a few of the ways she has given to her community...

When a small local animal shelter needed help Shannon got a crew of people and donations together and spent all weekend helping out. 

When a little puppy mill dog needed a home Shannon took her in, housetrained her, posted flyers all over town and found the perfect home.  

When Shannon was petsitting our dogs one of them had a terrible ear infection and she took two hours out of her day making sure he was comfortable before she left the house.

I hope we can all get together and give to help Shannon get through this difficult time.  As with all military families she has been doing all this alone with her daughter Sienna while her husband is serving our country.
