A Fire Displaced our family

My deepest condolences go out to the Harling/Henderson family for the lost of Sanford Harling, III, the 12 yr. old who died trying to save his father. R.I.P. MAN MAN.
On February 5, 2016 at about 9:10 am, I woke up in my bedroom surrounded by black smoke! I ran into my hallway to see smoke throughout my apartment. As I ran out of my bedroom I was met with so much smoke I had to feel my way to the stairs. However, I was able to run outside to safety. I was stunned to see that the house connected to my unit was completely on fire! After the fire was under control, I was able to get into my unit to save our 3 cats, they are currently in shelter care with Red Paw of Montgomery County.
There has been significant damage to my unit and I have been placed at a hotel with my 13 yr old daughter Aleshia, who currently attends Eisenhower Middle School. All of this just one week before the 3rd anniversary of my oldest son's murder.
At this time, I am trying to re-locate and replace the furniture and other belongings that were ruined from the smoke and water damage . We were fortunate enough to have some things salvageable. I am only asking for help to replace what was lost, find a new place to live, and have a fresh start so we can re-stabilize ourselves . This help means the world to me and my family in our time of need and the support is greatly appreciated. We all thank you from the bottom of our hearts and please continue to pray for the Harling/Henderson family at this tragic time. GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!
