Our Journey for Baby McCray

About 5 years ago I began to have terrible pains. We finally decided to visit Dr. Douthit.  After painful surgeries and more tests than I can count, I found out that my Fallopian tubes are closed on both ends. I still remember his face when he walked in the room to tell me the news. I remember he had Kleenex in his hand. We were crushed. My heart was broken. He told me I could still carry a baby but just couldn't get pregnant on my own. There were so many questions yet to be answered. How?What will it cost? How does it work? How tough on my body will it be? Will it work? How many  times will be have to do the IVF procedure? Lord, I pray it's just me. Please, please don't be infertility with Joseph too! Please! It took a while for us to accept it, now we are more determined than ever.....  Sooo after many tears, prayers, and planning we have our minds set on IVF.  There are still many questions to be answered, but we have put our trust in God that this will work. My sweet husband has been so patient. Our sweet girl wants a baby sister or brother so much that she is telling everyone that we will have a baby this summer (she doesn't understand it takes a while for the baby to develop)! It's cute and heartbreaking for me at the same time. We have visited with Drs from the reproductive center here in Wichita and have done research to prepare ourselves. We would like to start our first round (hopefully our only) this summer. The cost of this procedure is high but worth every penny to us! Our cost is $10,200 for just the procedures. This is what we must give to the office before it all starts. The medications are anywhere from $2,600 to $3,600. Non of these numbers reflect the office visits, the classes we are required to take, or the testing that all happens the month before the actual retrieval. We are asking for your help to make our dreams of being a bigger family and bringing a precious little one home, come true! Anything will help! We have been waiting for this for so long!
