Stingers go to Nationals in Kansas!

The Souderton Stingers are going to Nationals!!!  The Stingers are a U14 girls travel soccer team located in the small town of Souderton, PA.  Many of our girls have been part of this team since they were only 9 years old under Coach Charlie McGarrigle and Coach John O'Keefe.  Although some faces have changed over the years, our desire to play competitive soccer remains strong.  Together we have grown to be a unified group of girls who work hard playing the sport they love.  Our story began in March of 2015 when the road to the President Cups began.  We played several games both local and away, and with the victories, advanced to the finals in Lehigh Valley, PA.  When we won in Lehigh Valley in May, we moved on to Regional action in Slippery Rock, PA.  Knowing that this was going to be a big expense to parents, we ran a car wash to help raise money to defray some of the costs.  Our car wash was a huge success thanks to the generous community members of Souderton, Moyer and Sons for allowing us to wash cars there, and our hard-working players and families for the hours they spent cleaning cars.  We went to Slippery Rock over Memorial Weekend and played our hearts out!  Our team went 5 and 0 and became Region 1 champions!!!  We advanced to Nationals in July.  Our small-town team is now set to play in the huge arena at Overland Park, Kansas.  This is where we need your help!  We would love to be able to help the parents and coaches with some of this expense.  Whether we end up flying, driving, or however we get there, we need donations.  We want to make sure our girls get there because they deserve it.  They worked hard for it.  I would never want to say someone couldn't attend because it is too much of a financial burden.  Any donation, no matter how big or small, would be greatly appreciated!  We thank you in advance for your time and hope you can help our trip to Kansas be a memorable one!
