On Memorial Day 2015 Garrette Lee Collins (32) a fellsmere resident risk his life to save his 12 year old cousin out of a deadly riptide at the Sebastian inlet , saving his cousin but not being able to save himself .
Garrette leaves behind a wife Catherine Collins, a son Garrette Jr (11 ) and two daughters Gabrielle (6) and Giselle (3) the donations will help cover funeral expense and daily living needs for the family .
