Friends of Stefan Connolly

As you already know we have all lost a great friend recently but the only thing I can imagine being worse is losing a great husband or son or even worse than that an amazing Father. We are taking up a collection that will be given to Kerri for whatever expenses they may need in the days to come. Every dollar will be greatly appreciated and remember no amount is too small (or big). Stef was a one of a kind individual whom I know will be greatly missed by all. He was a shirt off his back kind of friend and we all know that nowadays that is few and far between. He made a beautiful family of his wife and two girls. He kept his friends and collected more along the way. Each one, I know, felt like an important part of Stefan's "big idea". We were all enriched. We grew fat with stories.

The next chapter of Stef's life was going to be the construction of a brewery and meeting place. A public house where more could be welcomed and find the treasure of Stefan's friendship. A legacy of kindness and welcome for his girls. That is a fitting project for a collector of people and distributor of good times.

This is a space that won't be filled. What we can do now is remember the stories and continue to tell them. We can take a lesson on the power of friendliness and generosity. We can honor the people in our lives who dream big and we can be grateful when we appear in those dreams. “I'll let you be in my dreams if I can be in yours” Bob Dylan
