Hello friends and family,
I'm reaching out in hopes we can come together to support our sister/friend/mentor/supporter, Gabrielle Brown. For those of you who haven't heard, Gabi's mom passed away on Friday, May 15th at just 59 years old. She is home, here in Chicago and preparing to bury her mother this weekend. As you all know, Gabi is an only child so is truly carrying a lot of weight, in so many ways. I'm hoping we can come together, as we have so many times before, to really support her, not just emotionally and spiritually, but also financially. I am hoping to pull together to off set some of the costs. If you have ever had to lay a loved one to rest, you'll know how costly it can be. Any amount, no matter how big or small is SO appreciated.
Sometimes it's hard to ask for help, but luckily when it's family, it's not asking, it's more like sharing.
