Moore Family Tragedy Benefit

I write this heartfelt request for assistance to help ease the minds and relieve some of the weight off the Moore family of Pataskala. As shown on NBC4 and FOX28, early Friday morning the parents of Wayana Moore were awoken by screams for help from their 15 year old daughter. She was being brutaly attacked by their 20 year old foster child using a butcher knife. Her father Wayne, 53 years old, came to her rescue and was stabbed three times before gaining control of the situation. Shortly after, the police arrived and took the foster child into custody. The father and daughter were then rushed to separate hospitals where they were brought into emergency surgery. Thanks to skilled surgeons and positive/hopeful thinking, both are recovering and greatful to be alive. Wayana sustained 17 stab wounds mostly in her legs and arms and one on her face. Her father, Wayne, sustained one stab wound in the chest barely missing his heart and two in the back, causing one lung to collapse and induce severe internal bleeding. 
During their recovery process, they will both require occupational and physical therapy as well as time away from work, school, and Wayana's love of volleyball. Their family as a whole will need a significant amount of therapy to get past this horrific tragedy that has taken place in their home.
In order to help them make the transition smoothly, let's pull together to assist this family financially so they are able to take their first steps back into society a little easier.
