Lyanne Ferrell

As many of you know, Lyanne passed away yesterday from complicated heart issues. She was taken from her family so suddenly and at such a young age. It's devastating to see the family appear lost now, not really sure of where to go or what do next. From the day I met her, she was always so warm and accepting of me in Deidra's life, when she really didn't have to be. And i knew she loved me, and as Deidra told me yesterday, she loved me for her. And for that I will always remain greatful for that. She was loved by so many. Standing back and looking at the family, the question of what can I do to help has come up often in my head. There is not a lot you can say to the man that has lost his best friend of 30 years, and "I'm so sorry" can only go so far. And as my niece pointed out to me today, I'm not one to ask for help. And she told me that it should be okay to ask, cause everyone needs help every so often in their lives. With Lyanne's sudden death, the hospital bills and funeral arrangements alone are a hefty financial heartache. And I'm just putting this out there to see if anyone can help. I can't express to you the gratitude I have for everyone that has reached out to the family, whether it was sending poems, articles of advice, or just to say be sure Deidra knows she's loved. So thank you so much.
