Leachville Police Department K9 Uni

The Leachville Police Department as well as all of Buffalo Island are in need of a K9 Unit. This unit will be utilized for the detection of illegal narcotics, search and rescue, evidence recovery as well as self defense. LPD has a goal to not only make an impact in the large use and sales of illegal narcotics but also to deter other crimes such as theft which has a direct impact on the rising cost of insurance premiums . It is well known that communities that utilize an active K9 program also make an impact on other crimes such as theft. Please help us to make an impact in our mission to deter the increasing crimes such as illegal narcotics and other crimes such as theft. The Leachville Police Department will make our K9 available for use by our neighboring communities upon request.
