Donations for medical expenses

Hi my name is Matt and I am 41 years old. I was recently diagnosed with early onset Parkinson's Disease and I take numerous medications to help combat it. This disease has changed my life forever. Things that were once easy to do now require me to apply more focus and energy. For most of my life I was a very strong and husky guy who served in the United States Air Force. After coming home I answered the call that my grandfather chose as well and became a police officer. I always felt the need and still do to protect and defend those that can't do it themselves. - I would like to take a moment to also share a link that would benefit many who suffer from this disease, it is https://www.michaeljfox.org/ - if you are able, please donate to this project so that a cure can be found. I have had some disease related problems lately that required me to go to the hospital for testing. Like many other things in the medical field, these test are expensive and sometimes not covered by insurance. As a disabled husband and father of 3 you can imagine the burden that places on my wife and I. Speaking of my wife, the brave/strong soul, she works all the time and carries most of the weight. She often says that she is so lucky to have me but honestly I am the lucky one and I dont always give her the appreciation she deserves. Although I have income coming in, money is tighter these days with our situation.  But every day we wake up to each other and face the battle with our heads held high and overcome every obstacle that comes our way. This July will be our 17th wedding anniversary and I am greatful for every single year. What a gift it would be to be able to ease my wifes worries. I can handle the disease and the financial stress but she does not deserve that burden. She has not seen her mother that lives in Florida in 5 years and a big part of that is due to all of this. Anyway a good friend of mine suggested that I use gofundme.com to bring awareness to this disease and help us out with our financial woes. Writing about yourself and asking strangers or friends  for money is not the easiest thing to do but I'm trying, just the same way we live our lives from day to day. I would like to say thank you from my family to you and yours if you are able to contribute or even if you donate to the MJF foundation. Also, before I forget, a friend of mine told me that I should post some links to my graphic art work that I do in photoshop. I'm always looking for a way to express myself as well as bring others enjoyment (If it gets me some work, that would be ok to) so here are the links : http://s394.photobucket.com/user/pixel-sculptor/library/?sort=3&page=1 and https://www.behance.net/alphapsyentist . If you care to get in touch with me my facebook page is: https://www.facebook.com/the.aLphan3rd  - Have a great day and may peace be with you.
