Our daughter Chelsea has just become a mother of a beautiful baby girl two months ago. She has just been diagnosed with a pregnancy induced clotting disorder and Compartment Syndrome in her arm. She needs surgery right away to prevent further permanent damage, but first has to be treated for her clotting disorder. She and her husband have health insurance, but it doesn't cover very much. They will need funding for housing for her husband, daughter, and her husband's sister to come from another state to care for the baby while he stays by Chelsea's side. They will also need funding for lost wages. Chelsea is currently a teacher on a native american reservation in Zuni New Mexico. They plan to move back to Michigan at the end of the school year where she just obtained a job at a Lutheran School in Harbor Beach for the coming school year. The move is planned for the middle of June. The medical expenses will be more than they can handle and we are hoping to help them with this.
