My First Study Abroad Experience

Hello, my name is Alexandria Patterson. My major is African-American Studies at UCLA and I will be studying abroad in Paris, France. This is my first time out of the country and I will be leaving June 27th, 2015. I was accepted into the Jazz in Paris study abroad program for five and a half weeks for the summer.  Music has always played an immense role in my upbringing and traveling the world has always been a dream of mine since I was a child. Being able to study Jazz in Paris is truly a blessing. I am trying to raise funds for this study abroad experience for daily expenses ( i.e. groceries, laundry, and transit fare) and any incidentals that may occur during my stay in France because my financial aid (which includes loans) will not cover these expenses.
