Anniston's 1st Equality Store

My husband and I would like to open the first Equality Store in backwards Anniston AL. We are open allies, and would love nothing more than to openly show our support of the LGBTQ community in our local area. Ideally, we would like to open a boutique-type retail store that would have all things Pride, Equality, and Ally related. We would eventually like to expand it to include a catering service (we both have extensive food service industry experience) to cater to the LGBTQ community. We are not worried about the potential backlash from the straight community. We are passionate about doing all we can to show our support. Our biggest obstacle is finding the funding to start this business. We don't have the ability to personally raise the funds, but won't let that deter us. Please help in any way that you can! We appreciate any support that is given!
