Duluth Trio to History Nationals

Donation protected

On May 2, we competed in Minnesota History Day in Minneapolis. Much to our surprise, two projects from Marshall School in Duluth were honored by winning the right to represent Minnesota at nationals in Washington D.C.

Andrew Kneepkens and Erik Shirley will present their group exhibit, and Farley Dodge-Hammond will present his website to judges at the National History Day competition in June. One of our teachers and one parent will chaperone us on our trip and we will stay in dorms on the University of Maryland campus for several days in June while we compete.

Each student and chaperone is responsible for their own entry and travel costs, aprroximately $900 each. We are so honored to be representing the state of Minnesota, especially our city of Duluth,  and would appreciate any donation to offset our entry and travel expenses.

Thank you for your help!
