UCONN Women's Rugby D1 Nationals

After a successful season going undefeated in the Eastern Division of the Northeast Collegiate Rugby Conference and competing for the conference plate last weekend, the UCONN Women's Rugby team received a bid to the USA Rugby Women's Division I College Championships to be held this upcoming weekend, November 15th & 16th, at Dartmouth College.
As a club team competing against Division I varsity programs including Army, Quinnipiac University, American International College, and Norwich University over the last several years, earning a spot in the Sweet 16 of the National Tournament is monumental. For those who have followed and supported our team, you understand the journey our program has taken to become not only a top club team in the country, but a force to be reckoned with amongst DI varsity teams.
We are a student run organization and receive minimal funding from the university. While varsity athletes have the luxury of free transportation, hotel stays, food, team apparel/equipment, amongst other conveniences, we must do all of this with our own time and finances in order to compete.
Please consider supporting the UCONN Women's Rugby team's tremendous feat of earning a berth into the Division I College Championships to help defray travel, hotel, and food expenses not covered for us. With your generosity to ease our financial burden, we will pursue this incredible opportunity with unparalleled determination and heart.
