The Sharon Evans Fund

Sharon Evans was only 28 years old when she lost her battle with Myeloid leukaemia in February this year.
She was diagnosed with it in July, just two months after marrying her partner, Leigh.
Sharon was mother to 4 daughters Jodie, (8), Libby, (6), Nancy, (5) & Rosalie (2).
Sharon began feeling ill and suffering painful mouth ulcers before her wedding on May 4 but put it down to stress - the devastating diagnosis came after her wisdom tooth became infected and she was sent to A&E.
She got a call the next day asking her to go back in and there were people from Macmillan there. They explained that she had leukaemia and she was admitted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich and underwent two successful rounds of chemotherapy.
Sharon & the family thought that she had beat the illness, when just two days before Christmas when she was told the cancer had returned.
Sharon was moved to Kings College Hospital on New Year's Eve and was told by doctors that chemotherapy was no longer working.
It had always been a big dream of Sharon's to see her girls in Disneyland, so family and friends set up a fundraising page to get her there with the girls and her husband, so they could build some good memories for the children.
Sharon was overwhelmed by the kindness of strangers, her friends and family.
She said: "I can't put into words how grateful I am that so many people have given so much money to help make memories for my kids."
Unfortunately Sharon was never well enough to make the trip, and spent most of the very short time she has left in hospital, and she died in February.
The family did not want to make another donation page, because they were already so grateful to people who had been kind enough to donate already, But the original page has expired, so this is the new one.

Please help us to help this family. No donation amount is too small.
Of course money will not bring their mother back, but it will make their lives a little easier and help their father to look after them.
