My name is A (W) Hendry and I'm just starting out in my writing career. I have had a couple of stories accepted for publication and have put out a wee ebook collection on Amazon Kindle. Unfortunately the ancient clockwork computer I was using has finally given up the ghost -it is an ex computer, it has gone to silicone heaven, it has… you get the idea.
At the moment I don’t have the funds to be able to replace the computer and until I can find full time work, I work part time at the moment, there is no way I will have the funds any time soon. Even then it could be months until I have put aside enough cash to be able to afford a new computer.
I would like to be able to get something relatively cheap like a Chromebook so £200 will be plenty -once Go Fund Me have taken their fees and so on.
I also know that I could simply go to the library to write but that’s not really an option where I live, plus the nearest library isn’t a peaceful environment in which to work as it runs a lot of activities for children –which is brilliant but it isn’t conducive to me being able to work.
Any help that people can offer towards sorting this confounding computer conundrum out will be greatly appreciated.
