Critical Care for Animal Angels is a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer-based organization dedicated to rescuing primarily homeless, injured or sick dogs in Middle Georgia. We operate through a network of foster homes in the Middle Georgia area and our efforts are funded by tax-deductible contributions from kind-hearted people and oranizations who care just as much as we do about making a difference.
Because we take in the sick, injured and dying our vet bills are enormous. We take in the dog bait dogs, the hit by car dogs, the starved, the sick, the beaten... We have removed eyes, limbs, and have done many emergency surgeries. Many of our dogs are heartworm positive and are treated with the fast kill method. We have epileptic dogs, blind dogs, and deaf dogs. Often, we take in hospice dogs. We love them as much and hard as we can until we have to let them go.
Our dogs are long term residents in our foster program so the cost of food, supplies and transport are huge. We feed our dogs good quality dog food, keep them on heartworm prevention, love them and spoil them.
When they have completed their vetting and their training, we search for the perfect forever home for them.
