Gavin has expressed that the one fear they have is his daughter being forgotten. I've been searching for the perfect way to honor Phoebe and have our community show support, I think this is it.

"I'm SO lucky to work with people that have reminded me how wonderful humanity can be. But the response from all of you and this city is immeasurable in compassion. Know that it's striking hard into our hearts and souls. Phoebe is deeply missed and forever loved.
A parent instinctively protects their child. A grieving parent instinctively protects their child's memory. We were worried about that but all of you have made it clear that she won't just be remembered by us. Thank you."

To make sure sweet Phoebe is never forgotten, some friends and I have found this beautiful way to pay tribute to her life and memory. Anything you would like to contribute will go directly towards her Bass Paver that will be displayed forever at the Sacramento Zoo.
Once we hit the goal of $500.00 we can present this gift to Gavin, Stacy & Connor to have it engraved with whatever they would like. It will then be installed in the Rare Feline Center courtyard, or the walkway in front of the big cats.
Pavers are 2¼” x 7” and support three lines of text with twenty-five characters per line, including spaces. Pavers make a touching memorial gifts and seem to be the perfect tribute to Phoebe. She will forever be apart of our community because Gavin and his family shared her story with us.
They can be placed in the main walkway of Big Cat Row, or in the Rare Feline Courtyard at the 3930 West Land Park Drive, Sacramento Zoo location.
