What they care about

I’m a Christian who loves Jesus my husband my kids and grandkids who live in another state and my rescued dog Rebel. Keep the faith

My name is Bonnie, and I am asking for help for my family: my husband and me, my daughter and son-in-law, and our three precious grandchildren. We moved from Oregon to Idaho in 2018 for work and believed we would quickly find stable housing, but life took a very different turn. After job changes and my growing health issues, we ended up in an extended stay motel. The monthly cost has made it impossible to save for a home, and I am also carrying more than $48,000 in medical bills while seeing five specialists. We are in our 60s and doing everything we can, but we are now one step away from homelessness ourselves. At the same time, my daughter and her family lost their place in Oregon when the property was sold. They were already living paycheck to paycheck, and the motels they turned to were so expensive that they were going without food just to keep a roof over their heads. I did what I could and sent money for food when I could not bear the thought of my grandchildren being hungry, but now they have run out of options. Shelters are full, and they are facing being on the street. How your support will help: Bring my daughter and her family from Oregon to Idaho Pay for temporary lodging while we search for housing Cover application fees, first month, last month, and deposits for a home we can share Help us replace lost furniture with clean used items after losing our storage units I am praying this reaches people who understand a mother’s heart. My hope is to reunite our family, keep my grandchildren safe, and create a stable home where my daughter can also help care for me during my health struggles. If you are able to give, pray, or share this fundraiser, it would mean more than I can say. We are trusting God to open a door through the kindness of others.
Hi, I’m Bonnie and this is Rebel, my emotional support dog. He’s sick and I’m not sure what’s wrong with him. He’s been guzzling water and going to the door and can’t hold it, so he pees. He is such a good boy; he NEVER potties on the floor. So, this has been going on for almost a week. I haven’t made an appointment with his vet because I live on social security, and if he has diabetes and/or a UTI, I imagine they’ll be testing, and I don’t have the money. If you could find it in your heart to help my Rebel, I would be forever grateful. Or you can call Sawtooth Vet and put it on there. I’m going to have faith and get him an appointment tomorrow. God bless you deeply.
