MOMS. STAND YOUR GROUND. I have never witnessed a mother fight so diligently day after day for her child, while the court system in NYC seems to be hell bent on removing the special needs child for NO apparent reason. It is a nightmare. Josee's mom is a domestic violence survivor who has exhausted her accounts advocating for the return of her child.
If you are a mother, this is a case you should pay attention to. If this can happen to her, it could happen to any of us. Let's team up and help her. She needs to know someone is on her and Josee's side. Josee is a 5 yr old special needs child. The court has NOT deemed this mother as unfit, and she still has full parental rights.
