Hello everyone!
We would like to thank everyone for their continued support, prayers, thoughts, and love. This is what has pushed us through the tears and heartache. We are beyond humbled with your generosity and requests to donate on Tyler’s behalf. Our hearts are overwhelmed with your kindness and love.
Who is Tyler?
From the very beginning, Tyler has been the same kind, caring, honest, stubborn, and bullheaded teddy bear. He’s a tough and rugged sonuva gun to everyone he encounters until it comes to his two little nieces Brielle (6) and McKenna (3). Big-bad Tyler turns into the gentle and loving uncle TyTy when it comes to those girls no matter who is around. Everyone knew Tyler for his infectious laugh and ginormous bear hugs. You could always count on Tyler to lighten the mood and make you smile. He put his entire heart and effort into doing everything he loved. Hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and archery consumed his entire life. Though he loved to adventure and hunt and fish in all new places, nothing could quite beat his love and passion for hunting whitetails in Minnesota. All his happiest moments involved doing those things with the people that he cared and loved the most.
We all know Tyler never did anything unless he did it right and gave ’er hell. And that is just the way that he wanted to go. Tyler’s absolute favorite place to sled was at Lost Lake in Cooper Landing, Alaska. He began his sledding addiction and ended it there. Saturday January 28, 2017, he was sledding with a friend and was unfortunately killed in an avalanche.
Throughout the years, Tyler has made himself a place to call home in Alaska and we look forward to having the opportunity to bring his things and pieces of his home back to his first home here with us.
