Tuition fee for Tarr's film.factory
Donation protected
Dear all,
As of last week, I got accepted into Béla Tarr's BA programme at the film.factory, Sarajevo.
Faculty members include, among others: Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Béla Tarr, Carlos Reygadas, Fred Kelemen, Gus Van Sant, Jean-Michel Frodon, Jonathan Romney, Jonathan Rosenbaum, Stephen and Timothy Quay, Thierry Garrel and Tilda Swinton.
Visiting artists, actors and professors include, among others: Juliette Binoche, Gael García Bernal, James Benning, Pedro Costa, Agnieszka Holland, Lech Kowalski, Zeki Demirkubuz and Nicole Brenez.
As a filmmaker and critic , my writings have been published in the Turkish film magazine Altyazi and Ruben Demasure – who was part of the IFFR Young Film Critics 2015 programme – recently approached me to write for Sabzian , ‘’a collection of online reflections on cinema and maps cinephile events in Belgium and surroundings.’’ Prior to this, I contributed regularly to the magazine of Lumière Cinema Maastricht.
My most recent work, ''The Exfoliation of a Cinephilic Eye #1'', has been selected as part of ''The New Selection of ‘Küçük Sinemalar' - A Survey of Experimental Cinema from Turkey''.
But unfortunately, I don't have enough money to pay the yearly €8500 tuition fee. If I would be able to raise the amount that is needed before August 14, I can apply for some funds to cover the rest.
If the goal of €4300 has not been reached by September 15, everyone will get a refund.
And anyone is free to propose his or her own ideas for rewards. Please don't hesitate to send me a message.
THANK YOU!
