TrashAsArt Scholarship Fashion Show

Trash As Art is launching a new brand that will be dedicated to helping provide scholarships to students majoring in the arts and fashion. The culmination of the brand will be an annual fashion show and gallery exhibit that showcases visual artists, designers, makeup artists, and hair-stylists. We will award the first round of recipients at the inaugural fashion show on August 29, 2015 in the Aurora Cultural Arts District. We are raising funds to help pull together this event and distribute scholarships. 

I would not have made it where I am today if it were not for all of the amazing people who have supported me and helped me to develop and grow in my craft since childhood. I believe it is important for businesses to not only make money but to also make a positive change within communities they serve. This is an opportunity for me to do just that.

There is a wonderful Trash As Art team who will help to get out the word about the event. We will be to fundraise, organize, and execute this dream. We will do a call for entries for the fashion show. We have already started a partnership with one community college to get scholarships for students.  Your donations will go towards helping with the August event and if we are able to reach or exceed the goal, additional funds will go towards providing scholarships for more recipients.
