Tracie Nicastro and Family

Tracie Jo (Taylor) Nicastro, 45, is a  devoted mother to two boys, Richie and Gregory, and a loving wife to Richard "Bucky" Nicastro.  The four of them and the rest of her family would appreciate your help and support. She is the youngest of 5 siblings:  Cindy Taylor; Edward and Lisa Taylor, parents of Marisa and Brandon; Glenn and Monica Taylor, parents of Zachary, Madison, and Elliot; and Carol (Taylor) and Michael Piccirilli parents of Jeffrey and Nicholas. In addition to her siblings, her husband's family have been lovingly supporting Tracie. Her mother-in-law, Joan Nicastro, sister-in-law Laura Nicastro, her son Dylan, brother-in-law, Anthony and Rebecca (Cruz) Nicastro and their sons, Conner, Casey and Brett.



Working as a nurse for many years, she helped patients through various medical hardships. After raising her two children and supporting her husband in a startup family business, Tracie decided to pursue a career of her own as a nurse. While the boys were in school, she started school herself, graduating at the top of her class in Nursing from Sewickley School of Nursing and then to Penn State University- Beaver campus. Now Tracie is facing her own hardship and would appreciate your help.  

In November of 2013, Tracie was diagnosed with a pilosytic brain tumor. She was treated and working towards a full recovery. However, on December 8, 2014, she went in for what was thought to be a routine checkup. The doctors discovered a very large, high grade Astrocytoma. Aside from the costly medical expenses, Tracie's family also incurred an immense amount of directly related costs (Hotels, travel, loss of wages, rehabilitation, etc) so they could be with her during this difficult time. 

Tracie is a month into her rehab and showing many positive signs leading to recovery, but this process will be long and difficult for her and her family.
