It's time for the Tennessee Powerboat Club's Third Annual Fun Run on Old Hickory Lake. I want to first say thanks for all the tremendous support from our sponsors and boaters for the past two years. I hope you can all find it in your hearts and budgets to help us once again this year.
This year we are extremely proud to announce the 2015 Fun Run on Old Hickory Lake will benefit The Wounded Warrior Project. Since its inception in 2003, the WWP has helped tens of thousands of wounded service members and their families. They offer support through 19 different programs that are specifically structured to assist warriors with visible and invisible wounds, as they recover and transition back to civilian life—and ALL of these programs are provided free of charge for the warriors and their families. I can’t imagine a more deserving cause than to give back to the men and women who risked everything to make us able to live with the freedoms we enjoy every day. Last year’s event raised over $30,000 for charity--this year I have set a personal goal of writing a check to the WWP for at least $50,000 --please help us reach that goal by giving what you can!
