A little over a year ago, we met in what was an absolute divine appointment at a coffee shop in Santa Cruz, CA... which is crazy because 2 years ago neither of us even knew that Santa Cruz existed. The Lord spoke so clearly to our hearts that us coming together was all HIS doing and that our lives and eventual union would be for His purposes and kingdom. We said yes to that calling and as a result, God has taken us through a year of radical transformation and healing. He has uncovered the lies we had believed about Him, revealed our identities as His son and daughter, renewed our minds to the reality of the kingdom, and awakened our hearts to His miraculous love.
Many promises from God were spoken over us early on, both in our hearts and through other people the Lord has brought along side us. We would be lying if we told you that there haven’t been moments of disappoints. Moments when we’ve hoped, and hoped again, that the Lord would show up in some miraculously sweeping way and set all things “right,” followed by a small sadness that He hadn’t… yet. But through all of the highs and lows, the one thing that has remained constant is the unwavering faith that the Lord has rooted in each of our spirits in the process— a faith rooted in the truth of who HE is, a faith that doesn’t walk by sight.
As we have moved from faith to faith, the situations that we are facing have gone from one impossibility to another, which in terms of the Kingdom of God is pretty exciting because we know that He will never leave us or forsake us. We feel honored to stand in the face of great opposition that will yield many testimonies of God’s mighty faithfulness and love.
We are asking you to come along side us as the body to see mountains move and His glory to manifest in our lives. So if you feel the Lord move in your heart to give to our life, know that we are so humbled by your willingness and thankful for your generosity.
These are the promises from God we are fighting and believing for:
- Finances to pay for a wedding
- Finances to pay for a car
- Finances to pay off $30,000 worth of College debt
- Total body restoration and back healing for Tommy
- Job opportunity for Tommy since he was released from professional soccer because of his injury
