My name is Jennifer and my sister Holly and I have had a dream for a long time; every year we tell eachother "this year it will happen" and every year our dream remains elusive. You see we would love to go to Disneyland together!

Our story is a very long one that goes back to when we were young. You see we have been struggling with our health for over twenty years, we are now in our thirties and do not know what being a normal healthy adult is all about. But we believe we will eventually!
The last decade has been especially difficult and within it has held times of being bedridden, times of unemployment, a lot of loneliness and isolation and lots of pain and fatigue and other symptoms.
It has been years of struggle, many doctors, specialists, tests,  frustration trying to find answers.... Three years ago we finally got some of our answers in being diagnosed with Chronic Lyme Disease. It has ended up being more complicated than simply Lyme, throwing into the mix toxic mold exposure and heavy metals, and a few other little enigmas.
My sister and I are in our 3rd year of Lyme treatment and we have been making great strides, hopefully now we are "cleaning up" the last bits of the Lyme and Co-infections, but I think our greatest struggle is dealing with the wreckage that decades of infection have left in it's wake. We are still struggling with autoimmune issues and going though treatments and tests.

We do have days when we feel down, but our hope remains in the Lord through everything.

But in the mean time there is very little fun in life and there has been no money or energy for vacations since we were young . We have supported each other through a lot of pain and hopelessness and shared our tears and fears together. We have never been on a trip together just the two of us. We have missed out on so much in life, but this year we are going to try and aim for the impossible and step out in faith that God an make this happen.  This is the first time we are really shooting for the stars.
