Hi, my name is Sammy, I am a brother and a son in the process of transitioning. It’s so very nice to meet all of you!
Now... I know we just met, but I could really use your help...
Since the day I was born I've felt as though something is wrong. I spent my whole life trying to cover it all up and ignore the growing feeling in my bones however being trans, I have learned, is a fact that you cannot change. For those who know me well, you know standing up and taking action is not one of my strong suits.
But here I am! Let's do this! I want top surgery and I want it now! I've waited far too long for this, contemplating, researching, planning, and coming out... now it is time.
A few years ago I tried to be spontaneous and full of adventure which resulted in a mountain biking cracked rib incident. This has made it physically painful to bind, and mentally painful not to. So I'm ready to fast track this thing now so I can stop living in pain and just LIVE.
I am planning on going to Dr Garramone in Florida near my family (pictured above). The surgery expenses cost a total of over $7,000 so I have a long way to go.
Every little bit helps and I will thank you forever and ever and give you a big flat chested bear hug and maybe even an interpretive dance...?
