Hi there! My name is Trish, and this is the Tippy's Healthcare Fund.
This fund is incredibly important to myself, and my family.
Tippy is the eldest of our three cats, and means the world to us, but her health has been declining, especially her oral health. She's had trouble eating, and has been losing weight. We would take her to the vet and get her examined, but we have some other, very pressing problems.
My mother has stage 4 Metastatic, Bone Dominant Breast cancer that has progressed into a very aggressive form of breast cancer known as Inflammatory Breast Cancer, and is undergoing Chemo. I'm currently her primary caregiver, and take care of all the matters of the house. Unfortunately, money is incredibly thin, between medication, food, transportation, and basic living expenses, we have nothing else to spare. Which is where this fund comes in.
EDIT: Now our car is also dead. We're not exactly sure what it is, and we have no money to get it either towed, or fixed. The car is essential to getting food, supplies (for us and the cats), getting Mom to appointments that aren't covered by insured transportation, her medication, and places like the bank, or other appointments that aren't medical.
Tippy has been with us for 14 years. She lost her littermate about 4 years ago now, and it would be devastating to myself, and the household. Especially Mom. When not at the Cancer Center, Tippy is Mom's constant companion, and I'm terrified to think about what would happen if we lost our little girl.
This fund may be subject to change with the vet bills, and any left over would go to keeping all of the cats, Tippy, JJ, and Howlie happy and healthy for the long road to recovery for mom, or keeping the roof over our heads for her continued battle with Cancer. With how tight our budget has been with all of this, anything would be a blessing.
