It all started in 2010... We are West Side Goat Girl, a family owned and operated vegetation management service using goats!
As our small service grew, we saw the need for the animal lover to experience farm animals up close and personal. So, after our services were provided, we encouraged people to join in and pet the animals and ask questions, especially the kids but not to exclude the adults!
Although there are between 35-40 goats, it's not just about the goats! Horses, pigs, chickens and ducks are all part of the adventure! Who knows what other critters will see the vacancy sign at the end of the driveway.
Now, as the need continues to grow, we would like to provide the opportunity for people to come stay and experience the farm in their own personal Tiny House on the Tiny Farm, whether joining in on the daily farm chores, feeding, cleaning, educational purposes or just petting a few noses. What better way to get engaged with the animals and each other, and we're only 40 minutes from Portland!
Our goal is to raise enough to build our Tiny Home by the end of 2015. With your help, we can get this program off the ground! Thank you for your support!
