Better care for my dad

Hello,
My dad suffered a series of nearly fatal strokes 13 years ago. He was left severely disabled as a result, has had multiple complications but somehow keeps smiling. His speech was also affected and the only real communication we have is when I visit him. I've had limited success with speech therapy, so it's been quite a challenge to even figure out what his needs and wants are. He's had some ups and downs over the years but as of late has been having so much trouble with his physical therapy that they have nearly given up on helping him. It's not all on the therapists. His mood has been more apathetic than ever as a result of the stagnant condition of his body. He really needs some basic help with being able to experience the quality of life he should have. I want to raise money to help him so we can make sure he at the very least will be able to enjoy whatever time he has left. After all, when he was first admitted for treatment the doctors only gave him 5-10 years! He has the will, but our resources are limited to put it lightly. Help me help my dad.
