The Ramones-Wage Family (Mizhel)

Please take a moment to send your deepest condolences to Mizhel Wage and her family. 

On July 20th, 2015, Mizhel's sister, Leizle Ramones-Wage,  was hit by a drunk driver while crossing the street on a family vacation in the Philippines.  From the other side of the street, Leizle's husband and two sons (ages 7 and 9) witnessed this horrific tragedy, completely helpless. 

In a remote area of the Philippines, there was no immediate medical response. Leizle was taken to hospital and stabilized, but the injuries she sustained caused her to fall into a coma. She passed away shortly thereafter.

With no insurance policy, the Wage family must now endure furthered devastation of having to cover the costs to bring Leizle home to the family.  It is approximately $15,000, not including the funeral itself. 

In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask that a donation be made in honour of Leizle, to the Ramones-Wage family. This donation will help cover the cost to bring Leizle home and to help with child care for these two precious boys who are now faced with overcoming this trauma.
