LA Flood - The Vicknair Family

On August 13th my wife and I packed two days worth of clothes and drove to a friend's house to ride out what we thought would just be flooding in our neighborhood streets. Two weeks later we have gutted our home and have no idea when we will be back to where we were.

Our home is now a maze of 2x4s over concrete, waiting to dry out. Our lawn and the lawns of every house in our neighborhood are littered with lifeless memories and sentiment. While expecting great costs to repair we are constantly discovering the small things we have to rebuy just to live somewhat normally.

Any amount will help us on a long road of rebuilding. We estimate that we will need $20,000 more than what we expect to recieve from FEMA in order to rebuild our home. Any donation, even the $5 minimum donation, gets us closer to that goal.
