The Time Framed, composed of vocalist/guitarist Jeremy Benjamin, bassist Kay Morgan, and drummer Tommy Blair III, explore the boundaries of grunge rock by blending aspects of other genres including progressive, punk, ambient, post rock, and jazz together to form their own sound.
Our message is that music is more than an art form. Music has the ability to affect how people interact with the world, and if people were to use such a medium with the intent to make the world a better place it would be so. For us, The Time Framed is a big step in the long journey towards recovery and healing as many of our songs reflect our experiences with topics such as homelessness, loss, and surviving domestic violence. Through music, we intend to let everyone who has survived the unfathomable know that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
The Time Framed began to record original songs at Pristine Audio and Video Studios in St. Pete but have unfortunately ran out of funds to afford to have the EP finished. We really care about our music and how we can use it to help others. More than anything, we want to get our messages out and into the hands of those who need it and to know they are not alone. Any amount at all that you could help to fund the rest of the recordings is so deeply appreciated and would mean the world to us. Thank you!
