Keeper Institute Training Center

My name is Jillian Loyden, former goalkeeper for our U.S. Women's National Soccer Team.  I have recently retired from the game and started a small goalkeeper training company, The Keeper Institute, aimed to help young players chase down and achieve all their dreams.
I grew up in Vineland, NJ where I never had any formal goalkeeper training. Luckily I was recruited to two colleges, Rutgers and Villanova.  I chose Villanova and received great coaching, a mentor who really believed in me, and a coach who invested in my future. That was when my career really took off! I became an All American and the rest is in the books.  After college I was drafted to the women's professional league's St. Louis Atheletica where I got to train with one of the best goalkeeper coaches in the world.  After that season I was invited into National Team Camp, was a mainstay for five years, and I was given opportunities to be part of the World Cup and Olympic Teams.
For me it all stemmed back to a great goalkeeper coach who told me I had potential, worked with me everyday, and really helped me develop my game! Now I want to give that back to the next generation of great goalkeepers.  My passion is to share as much knowledge and encouragment with The Keeper Institute's students to not only develop great goalkeepers, but great people as well.
It has been a dream of mine to start a training center where young goalkeepers can come and develop every aspect of their game.  The Keeper Institute Headquarters will have a strength and conditioning component, a classroom to break down video, seminars on leadership, functional training with field players; it will be complete to work on every aspect of the game, not just shot stopping.
The money raised here will go directly to installing a new turf, strength equipment, and the technology needed to properly break down video.  The Keeper Institute has already found a home in Sewell, NJ, now we just need to turn that six thousand square foot indoor space into our own.
The game is starving for more great goalkeepers.  The world is starving for more positive female role models.  The Keeper Institute's home is a place where goalkeepers can come, work hard, master their trade, and leave empowered, full of confidence, and ready to lead positively in any arena.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and learning about The Keeper Institute!
