The Bruised Hearts Revue Album

The Bruised Hearts Revue began at a house show in a Capitol Hill home in Seattle in 2012.  Knathan Ryan and Suzanne Brewer were asked to play a fundraiser for a domestic violence shelter.  They played old hymns, country and folk songs and raised $500 for the shelter.  The experience was a success and the band officially formed and friends joined to create a six-piece lineup.
 Drawing from country roots, gospel, blues, americana and folk- The Bruised Hearts Revue pay homage to the past with a firm footing in the present.  Wilco, Hank Williams, Over the Rhine, Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson can all be heard as major influences on their sound.

The Revue released their first album "As Bright as it Burns" in 2014, earning praise from Country Music People who wrote a review, “A brave band…on the evidence of their CD, may well go on to do something even better. All the signs are there; this is another band to keep an eye on.” With a great lineup and new material
The Revue is looking to record their second album of original and cover songs.  They have already laid the foundations of eleven songs at Chartreuse uffin Studios in Shoreline, WA and are now seeking funds to finish the recording.  They are hoping to record and mix as quickly as possible to release the album in the spring of 2017.  Your financial support will help them accomplish their recording and be part of the process to help musicians with their art.  We are hoping to raise enough to release on multiple platforms, including vinyl.   The funds raised will allow us to record on two-inch tape, providing a rich and warm overall sound, with very able engineers at Chartreuse, mixing and mastering the album.  Any funds over our goal will go directly into the production costs of pressing to vinyl and/or other forms of media.  We are very thankful for your support and eagerly anticipate sharing it with you!
