Hello and thank you for your interest in this GoFundMe Page.
My name is Ric and I have been working on a project to find out more about Transgender Day of Remembrance (#TDoR) on November 20, 2016.
I was extremely sad and shocked to have never been informed of this world-wide hateful issue and travesty of justice!
Upon further research I found some few scattered sites of Events to mark the occasion. Even the “best” site for information was regrettably unclear and haphazard.
So I started to compile as much information as I could over two days so I could share the Events happening today (November 19, 2016) as well as the big day on November 20, 2016!

Now I know it is not beautiful, but for non stop, single handed work… it ain’t all that bad.
So it dawns on me, or it just maybe it’s sleep deprivation, that there should be someplace that will LIST LGBTQIA Events, especially for Events that raise awareness while promoting Diversity like #TDoR, in an easy to read format.
Now I am sitting here making this GoFundMe Page in order to see if there are any others in the LGBTQIA / Friendly Community that thinks the same and/or would use such a service.
My belief is that we all need to be Stronger Together, Now More Than Ever. That the only way to survive the current climate is to be More Supporative, Caring and Watching Out for Everyone.
Anyhoo, all funds will be used toward creating The LGBTQIA List Project .. specializing in Events that Raise Awareness and Promotion of Diversity.
