The Jump Start Fund in Memory of Reilly Crisler

Donation protected

It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of Reilly Christopher Crisler, 18, of Monument, Colorado.  Reilly was in a tragic motorcycle accident and was called to his eternal home on August 28, 2021 where he will forever be surrounded by peace and abundant love.

Reilly was bright, vivacious, and loyal.  He has been described as having a spirit that was "hot and fast".  Reilly had a unique perspective on life and his chosen path was not always easy.  Brilliant and resourceful as he was, Reilly did not feel college was the logical next step for him after high school.  He often felt lost or anxious about his future.  Owning a business and being his own boss was at the forefront of his career objective, but Reilly often doubted whether or not he would find success.

Reilly was a hands-on type of kid which was still his nature as a young adult/high school student.    Reilly worked at a cabinet shop, took welding classes, completed ground flight school during high school, and worked as a mechanic post-high school.

The casual picture of Reilly is one from his Eagle Scout project.  He and many volunteers built a safety path at his former elementary school, Prairie Winds.  Reilly was genuinely content with the success of the project.   That achievement was meaningful to Reilly.

The creation of the JumpStartFund is based on Reilly's experience and our perspective of kids/students like him.   How can we reach them, how can we help them discover their passion, and how can we help them achieve their career goals?

So, in lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to a fund in honor of Reilly.  The "Jump Start Fund" will be managed and dispersed by Steve and Renee Crisler (Reilly's parents) to a Lewis Palmer High School student or alumni in need who is interested in entering an industry trade or opening a business (ie. construction, flight school, carpentry, welding, etc).
