Thai Culture Night 2018

Every year, Thai SA hosts Thai Culture Night (TCN), which is our largest production of the year for an audience of over 400 attendees (admission is free!). TCN is our opportunity to bring Thai culture to the UCLA community and for Bruins (both Thai and not Thai) to connect and learn something new. This year’s Thai Culture Night is our take on the Thai classic novel "Taweepop" (Two Worlds), and involves an exciting whirlwind of thrills, romance, conflict, and comedy. We bring to you not only a thrilling play, but also showcases of muay thai, traditional dance, and modern dance. Our cast and performers all come from a variety of fields of study and races but have all come to work together to make TCN the best it can be. TCN is a student lead, student directed, and student funded production. Unfortunately, due to increases in costs for the production's facilities (Schoenberg Hall) and decreases in student funding, we need your help to make TCN happen. Any amount will be greatly appreciated and will take us a step closer to paying for Schoenberg Hall.
To Thank You for your generosity, we're doing a special giveaway (while supplies last) for those who donate.
Every person who donates will have their name put into a raffle to win either Elephant Pants, TCN 2018 shirts, or discounts to our sponsor's restaurants! Every donation (regardless of the amount) gets 1 entry and for every additional $10 donated another entry will be added into the raffle (if your first donation is $10 we will put in 2 entries and if your first donation is $20 we will put in 3 entries, etc).
Also, we will give prizes to those who donate the following amounts (while supplies last):
$25- Premium Thai Kunna Snacks (set of 2)
$50- Elephant Pants
$75- Thai Scarf
$100- **Limited Edition (8)** Siam Renaissance Photo in Acrylic Frame (taken by Robert Lens during King Rama 5th reign)
We will email you to confirm the prizes and these can be picked up on the day of the show.
