Climb Kilimanjaro for AET

My name is NIko and I am determined to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to raise funds and awareness to support education in Africa. Last year, my best friend Andrew and I made a goal and promised to summit together. I would like to stay true to that promise and climb Kilimanjaro in March 2016. As the son of educators, I strongly believe in the power of education, which is why all funds raised will be going to charity. My parents have agreed to pay for my climb if I reach my fundraising target. After significant research, I have chosen a charity that will help young people to get an education and open opportunities. This organization is called African Educational Trust. They help children and adults learn to read and write by setting up portable libraries, adult education groups and schools.They are also sending young girls to school in contrast to their traditional roles of fetching water and cooking for their families.
