Thanks for looking at this Page, We at the City of Porterdale, Georgia are working hard to improve our community and attract attention to our beautiful town. We are starting a journey to add an additional attraction to our city.  
Porterdale is an old mill town located about 30 miles east of Atlanta on I20. As with most small towns in America we were hit hard during the economic down turn, but we have natural resources and a strong community that helped keep us from going by the way side. So now with a strong community, an amazing public works dept. and some leaders with vision, Porterdale is turning the corner and becoming the "Jewel of Newton County".
We are looking to add a Disc Golf course to the Yellow River Park. This course will bring a Projected 200 players a week into our town as it will be the only course within a 20 mile radius. The projected cost of building this park, not counting the labor of city employees, is $5500. Not a tremendous sum for something that will bring beauty, business and activity to our City, but it is more than we currently have budgeted. So we are reaching out to everyone to help us make this a reality. We are offering several tiers of sponsor ship, from $1 to $5500. We are even looking for a full sponsor that will co brand the park with the City. $5500 is not a large sum at all to attach your legacy or your company to such a beautiful park.  
Every dime will count, as we start down this path together,So please give what you can and when ever possible spread the word, and lets make this happen together, as a team, as a community and as the outdoor beauty loving Americans we are!
