On December 23, 2016 Brandon's life made an abrupt shift.  Brandon was found unable to move his legs and limited movement in his arms.  An emergency trip revealed an acute spinal injury had occured.   Brandon was sent to Barnes Jewish hospital for further treatment.  After many days in the ICU on ventilator support, several spinal taps, MRIs, days of steroid treatments and plasma exchange later Brandon is still left with more questions than answers.  The cause of the attack to his spinal cord is unknown likely viral or bacterial in nature.  Through all of this Brandon's spirt remains strong and unbreakable.  With the support of Brandon's extended family improvements in his condition are seen daily.  There could be a long, uncertain road ahead of Brandon however he knows that this is a road he will not travel alone.  We are looking to raise money to support Brandon's future medical and rehabilitation needs.  We all know that family and friends make the difference in a lifetime and we are so grateful for the support that we have already experienced.
